I tried to do a little research on Crescent Gardens, Waterloo.  My Goodness, I had no idea how many crescent gardens and waterloos there are.  I mean, I could rule out all of the ones that were not on a coast, but still.  However, I think the best bet is that this particular crescent is near to Liverpool.  Although, the brief text doesn’t sound like someone who was, or at least who was living amongst scousers. But that just may be because for the longest time I was seeing the “To Ella” as Jo Ella, which just screams middle America to me. -- source link
