A friend of mine told me about this project for a new Library and Heritage Centre in Geelong, Australia. A Geelong native, she was not a fan based on appearance alone, but the project ticks the box for mingling new buildings with old, and appears to be in area that serves more than one primary function.It got me thinking though, when it comes to a town in regional Australia, can you still apply the 4 principles that generate diversity from Ms Jacobs’ book?
