There is a huge difference between what we ‘are’ and what we think we are. We think we are just a human being in a body, but the body is merely the vessel, it is actually its own separate mechanism. We think we are our thoughts, but what is behind the constant dialogue playing out in our minds that can essentially be aware of the dialogue? Even when we are ‘sleeping’ notice how we say “I was asleep” but essentially, your body is still doing relatively the same thing it does during the day, it is still going through the motions of breathing and the heart is still pumping. Your mind is still operating, whether we are conscious of our dreams or not. It does not stop completely. Yet, something vacates. But we are not the body or the mind. The separation that occurs during an awakening, is a human will go from ‘thinking’ they are something which can be their job. They ‘think’ they have a certain status because of their position. They ‘think’ they are rich because of numbers in a bank account. They ‘think’ they are from a certain country. The list can go on in many numerous ways that have been designed to make us think we are something that we simply are not. All we ever are, is how ever we are experiencing this very moment. Nothing more, nothing less.Sitting in the seat of now.As the layers slowly but surely begin to peel off, you now see everything with new eyes, everything is a painting. You now begin to listen with new ears, as the Earth now plays a permanent harmony of sounds for you to bathe in, a melody in perfect harmony surrounds you as you dance through life. from book ‘When Dusk Whispers’www.seedsfortruth.com -- source link
