Amidst the huge pressure of Islam, as the religion-by-law for the entire population, people in Mauritania are still coming to faith in Jesus through dreams, visions and miracles. God’s Word has strong impact on them. And the openness for Christians to witness in society seems to be growing.But sadly, the secret Church is suffering from a spirit of jealousy, dependency, and mistrust - and this is a barrier for spiritual growth. Without a functioning Body of Christ, new believers in Mauritania are missing opportunities to grow in discipleship and are forced to be solitary believers.Lord, we bring before you the Church in Mauritania. We pray that you will bring unity and peace and that they will have the same love for each other as that which is in Christ.
