Daddy and I drove to the lake on our last date. We held hands and watched the ducks while the sun worked on going down. He allowed only sweet, chaste kisses (guh), and my pup decided to go for an unplanned swim. Watching Daddy drive made my brain explode. He asked how it felt and I couldn’t get the right words out. Every simple, small, mundane thing we do together feels like intense indulgence. To everyone else we were just a couple in a car. For us, the trip was a multitude of tiny power exchanges. Little vignettes carefully added to our growing story…..to our pink, hazy landscape. When I close my eyes I can see him in the drivers seat. I can feel his control and the embarrassment (why is this so exciting?) mixed with the struggle to let go. All of these things still swirl in my beating chest. I can only hope it feeds him the way it feeds me. -- source link
