Zero was around 6 years old, when he escaped his creator and ended up on Octius’ ship. Blind and voiceless, he stayed in quarantine until Captain Octious decided that he was harmless.It took her a while to make her foundling talk (after fixing his voice), but when he finally told her his story, she felt committed and decided to help him. “Halcyon” shall be his name and from there he was her son. She gave him clothing, a job (cleaning, as nothing else was free) and even his eyesight back. Not saying that he was a problem child, but his obsession with dead things and reccuring night terrors sometimes drew her and the crew crazy. ^^; -- source link
