Fun fact! At the end of Sophomore Slump, we originally planned for Alfonso and Ferguson to go to Mewni instead of Marco. The show was going to be all about Alfonso and Ferguson fighting monsters, studying magic and learning the true meaning of friendship. In the end, we decided that it might be better to keep the show focussed on Marco and Star, since the show is called Star vs the Forces of Evil. -- source link
