I’m trying to get a handle on Jean Valjean as a character, hence all the JVJs, and I think I’ll work on Javert as I go. So there’s some 24601s, some Monsieur le Maire…I didn’t include raccon!Javert and gardener!JVJ from that one weird dream I had, but I do have a nice scan of that sketch now. 24601 carries his head and shoulders a lot lower and more rounded than Monsieur M. does, which makes him look shorter. I ordered a really pretentious leatherbound copy of the brick to read after finals.
