This isn’t as clear in SMC as I feel it is in the manga, but you can still see: Endymion is the one to react to something happening, rather than Sailor Venus or Tuxedo Mask.  What seems like a physical effect (the loud thumping and then shaking of the library) doesn’t get any reaction from Minako or Mamoru, but King Endymion startles and looks up as soon as we feel a strong beat from Neo-Queen Serenity.It’s a little confusing the order of events in SMC, I think, but what the manga seems pretty clear on is:  Setsuna gets blown back by the storm when Wiseman corrupts Chibi-Usa, she calls out for Endymion.  Neo-Queen Serenity is still encased in the crystal, but there’s a strong “B-BMP” feeling from her, right around the time Chibi-Usa’s being taken over.  Endymion senses this at the same time, he feels uneasy and looks up sharply, then looks around a bit and says he’s going to go see Pluto.I don’t think he was connected to Pluto here at all, but to his wife (as they’ve been shown to have a psychic connection all along) who felt Chibi-Usa’s ripple across Space-Time, and he knew to put two and two together.  This is why Mamoru doesn’t feel it, because he’s not connected to Neo-Queen Serenity the way Endymion is (instead he’s connected to Usagi that way).So, basically, Neo-Queen Serenity picks up on Chibi-Usa’s distress –> King Endymion picks up on Queen Serenity’s distress –> realizes something’s happened to Chibi-Usa –> goes to see Pluto, who has the best chance of knowing what’s going on with her.  (But also, in the manga, Endymion says, “I have a bad premonition.” and he may well have some precog abilities, like he did with the Messiah dreams, so he may know that that’s where he needs to go.) -- source link
