Reading the Newspapers (c.1930-1939). Aristarkh Vasilevich Lentulov (Russian, 1882-1943). Oil on canvas.With time, Lentulov started using decorative elements in his paintings, gluing on bits of fabric and pieces of embroidery, or using bronze, silver and even gold paints.
