The way the game gets you to bond with your Pokemon and have them reward you for it by dodging attacks or enduring a killer blow genuinely amazes me. Needless to say, I got all googly every time she did something out of the ordinary. I think our record was 5 consecutive “hung in theres” with just a single hit point.
