gffa:Alphabet Squadron | by Alexander FreedI LOVE THE HERA CAMEOS IN THIS BOOK A LOT. It’s really great to see her through the eyes of street-level characters, to get this sense of WHAT A LEGEND (”Legend of the Rebel Alliance.” FREED GETS ME AND WHAT I WANT FROM HERA CAMEOS) balanced with how caring and kind she is.This isn’t a book that really has a lot of space for Hera, but I think it’d be really interesting to see Freed take on a Hera book someday. I’ve noticed that he tends to write women as these incredibly amazing hot messes (that are valuable for being hot messes, which is 1000% my jam) which isn’t quite right for Hera, but he also writes Wyl as being reasonably together even when he’s going through some shit, so it’d be interesting to see what he might do with someone like Hera, especially since these cameos have done amazing justice to her.COME ON, LUCASFILM, GIVE US A HERA NOVEL IN THE NEW REPUBLIC. *BANGS FISTS ON THE TABLE* -- source link
