Late August - Unknown bug on Orange CosmosThese bugs look sort of like lightning bugs. They’re all over in the garden right now, they’ve been having tons of sex on various flowers although this particular bug is currently solo.A local friend gave me the seeds for these Cosmos. I tossed them about and then when nothing happened just assumed the worst (it’s been a rough year in the garden). Turns out their foliage looks just like one of our common weeds! Now they’re putting on an incredible show and I will definitely be collecting their seeds to save for next year, and swap with other gardeners. -- source link
