Today my baby turned 9!! Can you believe that?! I still remember holding her on my lap in her boopie, bottle in one hand, typing with the other. Knees bouncing to keep her calm during conference calls. This was my all day everyday. We began flash cards, by the time she was 8 months I had her reading fluently at a pre-school level. She started 4th grade 2 days ago and is scoring 7th & 8th. She’s always been my heart, changed my life for the better with the opportunity of becoming her father. And I’ve loved every moment of it. With the move to California, what better opportunity to make her day the best ever! What better way than booking a flight, dressing up as a character from her favorite video game (#fortnite) of course! And that’s exactly what we made happen. With the help of @zsazsabeaute, my mom, and @4heartsonly, we planned a surprise @fortnite scavenger hunt for her. I can’t begin to explain the look on her face, how happy, shocked, excited she was. Starting with riddles around the house, ending with a special chest with her Rainbow Smash Pickaxe inside. Moments after arming herself, I Pop from behind a bush and a @Nerf bottle ensued. After I lose, on purpose, my mask came off and this costumed figure turned out to be her dad. I would say her eyes were full of tears… but those were mine lol. Can’t explain how much I love this girl and my family. I couldn’t have done any of this without you. Yes there’s tons of footage, I can’t wait to share with you all how amazing my daughter, @zsazsabeaute and my family is for all they’ve done. Topped off with playing with all of her toys, and 3 hours of Monopoly. Love this girl with all of my heart.
