swordpeddler: This is the Village of Esker, a small village of just about 100 people located south of the Desolation and east of High Watch. Recently some evil type nonsense has been happening in and around the temple of the new god. Commissioned piece for the upcoming ‘Tales Of Desolation,’ an anthology of adventures written as a companion piece to the excellent ‘Tombs of the Desolation.’The map is mixed media on parchment paper that I treated with a veritable gallon of marker ink to get that water damaged look. I used micron pens, prismacolor sepia ink pens, koi watercolor markers, prisma color markers, prismacolor watercolor pencils, and cheap ticonderoga pencils all on strathemore parchment paper. -- source link
