We decided to party hard that night, and just by chance, a bunch of Conner’s foreign friends were in town that night. So we bought a shit load of Big Leo’s and drank on the streets. Earlier that day it was raining, and I saw some dude on the corner hardcore-dancing in the rain. It was only for a second but I thought, “What the fuck was that?” That night, we saw this dude roaming the empty streets of Lang Suan back and forth. It was the same dude I saw earlier. He started hardcore dancing again and Conner filmed it. He was also walking around grabbing his dick, and picking cigarette butts off the ground. At one point Conner’s British friend gave him a full cigarette and the guy looked astonished, sat down and smoked it quietly for a long time. Turns out he used to be the town genius. Apparently he was an engineer or studying to be one, and then one day he just lost his mind. Now he just wonders the streets. He has a lot of family in town that still take care of him. So when this was taken, Conner and I were sitting on a bench and he approached us. He just stood there staring at me, not saying a word. He almost looked as if he were frightened.
