Graceful Awlsnail (Allopeas gracile)The Graceful Awlsnail is a member of the family Subulinidae, the Awlsnails. These snails are called awlsnails because their long, pointed shells resemble an awl. Subulinids are often very hard to distinguish from another and the Graceful Awlsnail is often mixed up with the Miniature Awlsnail (Subulina octona). The Graceful Awlsnail is very tiny and may be found in leaf litter, where it lives as an omnivore. It is a commonly encountered invasive species worldwide, but doesn’t appear to cause any real economic impact.Etsy | DeviantArt | Instagram -- source link
