HidaTakyama, JapanOctober 2018Although we arrived with only about an hour before close, it was perfectly quiet and serene. The trees were beginning to get their fall colours and it was absolutely beautiful. Hida village is a constructed village with original homes moved from around the region to this location. It showcases Japanese architecture throughout the last few centuries. It also explores village life and building techniques. It’s a really cool place to visit and I’d definitely recommend it. -- source link
