A commission for @lilyvanvamp at DeviantartShe commissioned me to draw my boy Cormac, grief stricken after the loss of his son Ben (whom got kidnapped and gruesomely murdered by revenge ridden psychopath)It’s the first time he gave into his emotions. Before that he was going on autopilot, not really registering was has happened.But sitting alone in his office, trying to fix his sons broken toy, dismembered so similarly was enough to give him a jolt to reality.My twitter - iisjah~~I finally had the strength to tackle this commission. I also wanted to develop him a bit more before illustrating it, to get how he would grieve. (also developed his entire timeline with @rejlan in the process)So thank you Lily for this opportunity and I hope I did it justice!(I also have some other drawing ideas for him now)~~Oh! It’s also the first time I’ve shown some of his weird genetics! Both him and Iisjah are not exactly right, due to a magical explosion accident, that their mother had while being pregnant with the two. It’s also from this they both has bad luck trailing their every move (the explosion was caused by the God of Bad Luck)Iisjah has a sort of dwarfism, and Cormacs genes made him manifest traits that the more ancient giants have (from which the island giants (like O'Rileys) developed) - he has darker hair, he’s taller than any other giant and some of his body is covered in thick fur patches. -- source link
